  6. Specification Version 2.0, dated August 4, 1996.

  10. To install, unzip the file to your hard drive keeping the
  11. internal directory structure intact.

  13. The Virtual Reality Modeling Language specification was originally 
  14. deveolped by Silicon Graphics, Inc. in collaboration with Sony and Mitra. 
  15. Many people in the VRML community have been involved in the review and 
  16. evolution of the specification. VRML 2.0 is a tribute to the successful 
  17. collaboration of all the members of the VRML community. Gavin Bell, Rikk 
  18. Carey, and Chris Marrin have headed the effort to produce the final 
  19. specification.

  21. The specification enclosed on the CD-ROM is the VRML 2.0 specification 
  22. date August 4, 1996. The most recent version (including clarifications) is always 
  23. available at:
